Life requires such an unwavering trust, doesn’t

Life requires such an unwavering trust, doesn’t it?

Or maybe it’s just that we feel we have to learn to trust it again because it’s been over centuries that we have slowly but surely been taught to fear life.
Fear nature.
Fear ourselves and one another.
And in my humble opinion, we are reaching the pinnacle of this disconnect and we’re growing sick for it.

Maybe if we were connected we wouldn’t have to work on trusting. It would come naturally like second nature.

So maybe this time is an invitation to look at all the ways in which we’ve become disconnected from ourselves, our body, our heart and soul, nature, the Universe...

Maybe it’s an invitation to turn off the noise and come back home. Stop focusing on everyone else. Stop feeding the fear and take care of ourselves, instead. Not from a place of fear but love. Not out of survival but out of nurture.

Maybe now is the time to once and for all break the illusion that we must remain slaves to our lives and our suffering and remember instead, the incredible potential that we have, simply by breathing.

Nothing to do, only be.
Nothing to accomplish or produce. Simply expressing our own creativity and curiosity as it desires.

The rest...the expectation...was never yours anyway. It was a sick society trying to prove its unworthiness.

We’re bigger than that.
We can finally let go of the bullshit and return to our natural state.

We can finally remember who we truly are.

The Power Of The Mind

‘The power of the mind’ might sound like a cliche but our thoughts have a profound affect on us. We can imagine a situation that isn’t even real and it can trigger an entire emotional and physical reaction in our body. I give an example of just this, in this episode.

We’ve all heard of ‘be careful of what you think/wish for because you might just attract that,’ and many schools of thought like law of attraction would encourage you to stay positive because negativity attracts negativity. But I would describe it less as what we attract and more of what we see.

If we only see that life is crap, then life will be crap 24/7. Of course there is crap in the world, but it’s not ALL crap. We can acknowledge its existence and we can also choose to see the beauty in the world as well.

My point is our perspective paints our reality. What we believe is what we see and when we get to know the language of ourselves more deeply, we recognise when we’re going into imagination. Into a projection rather than what is actually real, here in this moment.

This and more in this episode on the power of the mind and how our thoughts affect our emotions and physical body.

A PRAYER (for us all)

I forgive myself.

I forgive myself for all the mistakes I believe I made
For all the times I left my inner child behind
For all the times I loved someone else more than I loved myself.

I forgive myself for all the times I didn’t know
When I was confused and couldn’t decide and felt the anxiety hold a noose to my neck.

I forgive myself for all the times I grew angry at myself for believing I had made the wrong decision
For how hard I was on myself
For the pain I felt in my heart
And the loneliness the little one within me felt amidst it all.

I forgive myself for all the times I didn’t put myself first because loving someone else felt safer than loving myself.

I forgive myself for all the times I made myself small
For all the moments I didn’t see my own greatness, worth, value.

I forgive myself for all the blame and shame and guilt.
For the ways in which I believed I was doing it wrong or not good enough.
For all the suffering I caused myself.

I forgive myself for simply being human and not recognising that sometimes, just being in this body with all these big feelings is a big enough feat.

I forgive myself for all the times I wasn’t kind to myself.
When I expected the impossible of myself.
When I was hard rather than soft.

I forgive myself for learning the same lesson more than once and wondering why I didn’t get it the first time around.

I forgive myself for all the times I doubted myself, my intuition, my needs.

I forgive myself and know now that I am so worthy of my love
Of my attention
Of my company.

That my heart deserves holding
That I’m doing the best I can
And that grace follows me like a bride’s vail not because I’m perfect but because I’ve learned to soften scars with love.

I forgive myself for getting it wrong.
I forgive myself for getting it right.
I forgive myself for believing there is a wrong and right.

I forgive myself and I let love flood in
For all the ways in which it’s already there, wanting to hold me with various arms.
