What is Theta Healing?
Theta Healing® is a healing technique that works on a subconscious level, tapping into the theta brainwave which occurs just before falling asleep or waking up. It’s an empowering process that creates change on all levels: physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. Theta Healing® looks at the limiting beliefs and feelings we carry, from our childhood, ancestral line, past lives and genetic memory, held in our subconscious, and has the ability to create instant, positive change.
How does Theta Healing work?
90% of our mind is subconscious and only 10% is conscious. What this means is that most of the time we are acting and reacting from a subconscious place. We find the core of our issues rest in the subconscious mind. When we shift the limiting beliefs and feelings that are lying in our subconscious, essentially we can reframe our entire perspective of life. So, if our limiting beliefs are within our subconscious and our subconscious creates our reality, by changing our limiting beliefs within the subconscious we change the way life looks and feels to us and how we interact and engage with it.
Our thoughts and feelings are so powerful. They not only create our reality but they also affect our body, health and overall wellbeing. I don’t come from the belief that we should be afraid of our feelings; there are no negative or shameful emotions. But I do believe that by learning to nurture our feelings, shift our beliefs so that they empower us rather than limit us, we can tap into the immense power, creativity and freedom we have as unique individuals.
What does Theta Healing look like in a session?
Theta Healing® can be done in person or over the phone or zoom. We’ll look at what your limiting beliefs and feelings are, how they relate to the reoccurring patterns in your life and what positive change you would like to invite into your life.
In person, we will do muscle testing to verify the limiting beliefs. This is more for you as the client but it isn’t necessary for the healing to happen. So don’t worry if you choose to do a phone or zoom session.
You will either sit or lie down with your eyes closed whist the practitioner will tap into the theta brainwave and through a series of commands will release and replace limiting beliefs with positive ones. The subconscious is very simple and takes everything literally. It agrees with everything we say which is why it reacts very well to commands.
What are the benefits of Theta Healing?
There is the saying “I’ll believe it when I see it.” I often like to say instead, “I’ll see it when I believe it.” When the correct belief is in place than we are able to see the opportunities that lie before us. If I’m coming from an “I’m not worthy” belief and perspective, than life will reflect back to me things that reinforce that “I’m not worthy.” If I shift that belief to something like “I am loved” all of a sudden life looks different.
How Theta Healing® benefits us is it allows us to tap into our creative power, our original essence and shift our reality. It reminds and connects us with who we truly are and offers us the feelings and beliefs that support us in fully embodying that Authentic Self.
We don’t need to hold onto the story anymore. Our lives up until this point have made us who we are. They have offered us experiences to learn and grow from, but we don’t need to remain attached to the story. A belief that once benefited us might not be useful for us anymore so changing it will allow the old story to resolve itself so that you can really step into the present and feel fully engaged and empowered to create the future that awaits you, that you will create!
What’s good to know?
I’m only the witness to the healing and I must always have your permission to heal, shift and change beliefs or feelings. So the process includes you and what feels right for you. It’s always done for your greatest and highest good so something that is not in alignment with your greater good cannot occur. For some, the layers may take a while to unfold and peel away, for others it may be instant. There is no right or wrong way, it is entirely up to where you are, what you need and what is in your greatest good.
So I say, trust the process, honour your needs and listen to you own intuition. If this resonates with you than it will work. If it doesn’t than it won’t because the point of healing is that it feels good and in alignment with who you are!
