“The strongest actions for a woman is to love herself, be herself and shine amongst those who believed she never could”
We, as women, have a tremendous opportunity to be part of an evolutionary shift that is occurring. Women around the world are yearning to step forward into their fullest potential more and more and truly create equality. But in order to do so, we have to really connect to our self-worth, we have to heal and let go of this “not-good-enough” belief structure that has been handed down from generation to generation and acknowledge the gifts we have to offer this world. We need to reconnect to the power of the feminine, but in a different way from the feminist movement; which in many ways was about women connecting to the masculine within them. The feminist movement helped us greatly to step into the world beyond the role of how we were once defined, but many women today struggle from being too much in their masculine. They feel they’ve lost their femininity and the many wonderful attributes that the feminine embodies; intuition, fluidity, connectivity, wildness, nurture, softness, emotionality, surrender, creativity, receptivity, imperfection.
Many women today find themselves torn between who they need to be in the external world and who they feel they are when nobody is looking. They feel a pressure to be a certain type of woman at work or in relationship; not fully showing their true colours in case it would be unacceptable or disapproved of. They feel overwhelmed by their emotions. They feel disconnected from their intuition. Rigid in their bodies. And many, many women feel ashamed of who they are, how they feel and what they look like. This amount of self-judgement, along with feeling like who they are as a woman isn’t good-enough, is exhausting and often depressing.
We women are amazing beings when we truly connect to our inner power. We are fierce yet loving. Wild yet gentle. We are emotional yes, and incredibly empathic because of it. But we need to feel safe in order to allow ourselves to be all of that. So our work is to firstly discover and connect to our self-worth, embrace all of who we are so that we can feel safe within ourselves and the world (this is the masculine, in us) and then we can allow the feminine to come out in all her glory. Our world needs us to. Humanity needs us to. We are at a critical point in time where balance needs to be restored and the only way to do that is for us all to create inner balance between the masculine and the feminine within us all.
As a coach, I guide women in unveiling their Authentic Self and connecting them to their full potential by cultivating true self-acceptance, self-love and self-support. I help heal the wound that keeps us small and feeling like we aren’t enough as we are and redifine who we are as women in the world.
A few of the things we will look at
So many of our feminine aspects have been labeled as weaknesses. It is time to redefine what it means to be a woman today and see that our greatest gifts are not weaknesses at all, but a great and gracious force that can change the world.
